About Us

Following a series of Sunday Worship Services, Bethesda Kingdom Ministries (hereinafter also referred to as BKM) was established, marked by a formal launch on  the 12 May 2007. Pastor Piet Tlhabanyane had been recently released from The Christian Faith Centre, his spiritual home. The foregoing necessitated the formal establishment  of a new spiritual home. 

Towards the end of the year 2006, 3 congregants met at Pastors Piet and Masego Tlhabanyane’s home, to consider the wherewithal of the establishment of this new spiritual home. This new spiritual home grew to another location to hold a Tent Crusade in a remote village of Deelpan in Sannieshof in August 2007. BKM opened its door to public worship in Mahikeng area for the first time on the 01 February 2009.

BKM is the Church based on well – coordinated Cell Groups with the view to ministering to and taking good care of every member of the church.

BKM is firmly committed to The Great Commission as penned according to Matthew 28:19, applying the Act 1:8 strategy. The approach is to work concentrating energy, focus and attention at the Cell Groups,  which in turn, cluster to form zones; up to larger numbered corporate meetings.

Whilst the mission is to move as per Acts 1:8, the thrust of the main ministry is on the villages and deep rural areas, without downplaying the equal importance of ministering in the townships, towns and cities. BKM has evolved to become a Church focusing on training, development and encouragement of every member appropriately to respond to Mark 1:17 clarion call, where we are called upon to be “fishers of men.”

BKM is relentlessly striving to be a Christ-centered, Word-based and Spirit- led Church.
